A collection of images from the only mountain range in the lower 48 states that is oriented from east to west. This high alpine region is diverse in its geology and topography and offers great locations for hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing. Over 1,000 lakes abound in this range, with a majority of them residing within the boundaries of the High Uintas Wilderness.
